Vessel X

Mariana Echeverri is an artist based in Colombia. Her work explores bodies and the limits of censorship through a dreamyand experimental lens. Her sculptures, machines, installations and drawings create fluid atmospheres where risk, desire and an infantile universe find a common ground full of games and traps. She holds a BA in Fine Arts from Universidad de Barcelona, where she was strongly connected to the artistic postporn movement, collaborating with numerous artists and international collectives. In 2016 she completed a MFA in Fine Arts at Golsmiths, University of London. Her work has been seen internationally at venues such as Festival de arte Concemporánea Sesc_Videobrasil and Institute of Contemporary Arts of London.
